Issues:

I help people to heal from a variety of issues, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, disordered eating, relationship issues, & more.

Clientele:

I work with people 14 & older through telehealth, with in person services coming to Newberg in June, 2026!

Approach:

I integrate attachment therapy, CBT, Person Centered Therapy & body based work through somatic approaches, food, exercise, herbs, & supplementation to expedite the healing process. I also teach coping skills, utilize AEDP techniques, and take a strengths-based approach.

I am a culturally & linguistically specific services provider for the Latino/a/e community.

Expedited Healing:

Now offering weekend intensives for expedited healing at a reduced rate. Get 3-6 months of therapy in one weekend to find relief sooner!

I have earned my LPC in Idaho & am an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Corban University.

Richi

Mariah

Richi is a compassionate and engaging therapist whose primary therapeutic approaches are Person-Centered Therapyand Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He creates a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered while also gaining practical tools to create meaningful change.

Richi integrates evidence-based practices with a holistic perspective, recognizing the connection between emotional, psychological, physical, relational, and spiritual well-being.

He specializes in supporting:

  • Latinx/Hispanic individuals and families

  • African American clients

  • Immigrants and second-generation individuals

  • Individuals experiencing anxiety and chronic stress

  • Clients navigating narcissistic or emotionally abusive relationships

  • Families impacted by immigration-related stress, including concerns about ICE

  • Athletes and high-performing individuals

As the son of Latino immigrants, Richi is deeply committed to providing culturally responsive and affirming care. He understands the unique challenges faced by immigrant communities, including acculturation stress, intergenerational conflict, identity development, and fear related to immigration systems.

Richi offers therapy services in both English and Spanish.

He is an approved CLSS (Culturally and Linguistically Specific Services) provider through the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), ensuring culturally and linguistically responsive services for diverse communities.

Mental Performance Consulting

With 18 years of experience as a competitive baseball player, Richi integrates his athletic background with evidence-based mental performance strategies to help athletes strengthen confidence, resilience, focus, and emotional regulation.

He supports athletes in:

  • Performance anxiety

  • Confidence building

  • Mental toughness

  • Leadership development

  • Identity beyond sport

  • Transition periods (injury, retirement, role changes)

Richi earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Corban University in 2024.
